What is Gujarat all about?

Lots of being said and done in Gujarat like the state attracting foreign investors, the state being the only one in the country providing electricity to all of its villages, and the development of cities like Ahmedabad and Baroda.
I would like to highlight some of the most important projects that are going to happen or are happening in Gujarat. With Vibrant Gujarat annoucing a foreign investments of Rs 461,835 crores, Gujarat just seems to be the state that always is on the move. Besides the investments, the government of Gujarat led by Shri Narendra Modi has undertaken many infrastructural and energy projects for the upliftment of the state of Gujarat.
Always sidelined due to the Godhra controversy, Mr. Modi has ignored them. Instead, he has chosen wisely to concentrate on the development of Gujarat by providing electricity to all the villages in the state and let the work speak for itself. (Right Mr. Modi, an elephant never pays heed to the barking dogs.) In 2007-2008, Mr. Modi was re-elected as the Chief Minister of Gujarat state proving the confidence the Gujarati population has on him and his work. Modi, on the other hand is always going to make sure that people don't lose this confidence. However, providing electricity to all the villages wasn't enough because not many villages have 24-hour power and still face regular power cuts. On te contrary, efforts are continuously being made to change this phenomena and bring about a permanent change and relief for its population.
In addition to providing electricity, another important infrastructure was not only important but a boost for Gujarat's traffic- the Ahmedabad-Baroda Expressway. Before this expressway, traveling between the cities would take around 2 to 2 and half hours on National Highway number 8 (NH8). But with the introduction to this expressway, the time has reduced in half and people would reach Baroda (Vadodra) from Ahmedabad in a matter of just 60 minutes. The speed limit is 100 km/hour (65 mph), but many people prefer to go more than that since the expressway is not loaded with cars.
